Easter

Thanks for the congrats, everyone! It turned out to be a great evening, even if the table we got was a bit big - unfortunately girlfriend couldn't reach my thigh under the table. Ah well, we made up for that later:-)

The Easter holidays will be dead boring this year. Girlfriend is away on a cabin with friends for five days. (That's the longest we've been apart the last five years. Pathetic, I know). I'm working on my thesis (sigh), my advisor had quite a few things to say about my theory chapter that I need to straighten out. With girlfriend away I could work all day, but I know I don't have the stamina. I've been working nine to five today, including a generous lunch break. And now I'm fed up. Perhaps I'll have a small glass of red wine, and discourse theory will become interesting again.

Hey, a full day of work...I'm impressed. I need to do that for my project, but my little procrastination problem will simply not allow it.

God påske!

Takk i like måte:-) Yes, a full day isn't bad. The red wine didn't help, it just made watching TV more interesting. What's your project?

Ooo, I think you're doing very well, thesis-wise. Keep it up!

HB sa...

Thanks, Bani:-) And yes, I will keep it up!

9 to 5, even with a generous lunch break, is very respectable. I'm very impressed by your dedication to your thesis, HB. I can usually do actual work from about 9 to 2. That's when the drinking begins. You're so restrained!

Hope you and the girlfriend have a joyful reunion after 5 days apart! I'm spending nearly 6 weeks apart from my gf this summer and seriously don't know how we'll manage it.

Wow. Six weeks. That's a long time! Is it because of work? I have a few poems about being apart that I can send you. Poetry always helps a little!

Ooo, yes, bring on the poetry! The gf, she likes poetry.

I'm off doing a tour across Canada with a little show for six weeks this summer which will be lots of fun! But six weeks IS a long time, HB. I'm hoping that she can take a break from work in the middle of the tour and fly over for a visit. In the meantime - there's always poetry.
